California Tomato Machinery's mission is to be the premier provider of quality tomato harvesting machinery and parts to the tomato processing industry.

The Company

California Tomato Machinery (CTM) was started in 1999 by six entrepreneurs from the fertile farming region of the Central Valley of California to purchase the world-renowned FMC Tomato Harvester division. These six individuals form the core leadership group of the company with decades of experience in farming, equipment sales and repair, agriculture business, and most importantly, customer service. The company is proud of its farming and processing heritage that spans three generations, as well as the success the group has had in tomato harvester, parts, sales, repair and service sectors. As a company that knows and grows tomatoes, CTM has its finger on the pulse of the global tomato economy.

At its inception, CTM was extremely fortunate to have many key members from FMC join the CTM team. The addition of the seasoned and invaluable staff in the areas of engineering, manufacturing, procurement, service, and sales ensures the continuation of the high quality standards customers expect with the FMC brand as it is transformed into CTM. While lean by big corporate standards, the company enjoys the flexibility of a small business in being able to quickly react to changing industry demands while at the same time conduct business with all the professionalism found in a Fortune 500 company.

Based in the United States, CTM follows the worldwide presence of its predecessor company with many of its products found in Australia, Italy, Israel and Mexico. As the global tomato industry changes, CTM is already expanding its reach by exploring new territories all over the world.
