TThe CTM Commander Tomato Harvester, introduced in 2003, has been an industry standard for many years. Originally developed by FMC, the harvester offers unsurpassed reliability, capacity and features today’s progressive tomato grower.

The Commander, equipped with a simplified open center hydraulic system, has plenty of hydraulic horsepower in reserve, a feature that result is more trouble-free operation and less downtime for the harvester.

The Commander’s patented Recovery Reel and 2-stage Shaker System are unequaled at tomato recovery. This high capacity lowers harvesting costs by providing more production from each machine. Shaker frequency is easily controlled for optimal performance for any variety and in all conditions.

The Commander Tomato Harvester is powered by a Deere 6068H Tier 3, 225 Hp Diesel Engine. The ground drive system utilizes heavy duty bent axis variable displacement hydraulic motors with a hydrostatic pump for unsurpassed torque and grade-ability power.

The Commander is equipped with two 32 channel dirt sorters and two 40 channel color sorters, providing the highest capacity available on any tomato harvester at 85 tons per hour. Optional Features on the Commander include a three weight shaker, vine shredder, dual color sorters, and pickup options.
